Hi,
I am a new Canadian RN grad from the BSCN. I have fixed plans to go to the Uk in the next 6 months but have just read that in order to be registered with me NMC I have to have 1 year experience in my home country. I was just wondering if there was any way I could work in the UK as an RN without the 1 year experience?

Afraid not, the 12 months is required to register with the NMC and without registration you cannot work as a registered nurse in the UK

Also process to register with the NMC will take longer than 6 months and if you read Nurse Registration you will see many IEN's are not passing first stage of the 2 stage process
Ah ok. Thanks for clearing that up for me :)
