New to Area - Employment ?'s

I just moved to the Peru - La Salle area and was wondering if anyone knows about salaries here and good places to work as a new LPN in the area. I am willing to drive about 15-20 miles max. Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome! I grew up in the area. There are a number of hospitals nearby, such as St. Margaret's in Spring Valley, IVCH in Peru, Community Hospital in Ottawa, and I believe there is also a hospital in Mendota.

I can recommend some nursing homes as well, but prefer to do so privately. PM me if you are interested. Good luck!

Does OSF have hospitals nearby? St. Anthony in Rockgord, as well as hospitals in Bloomington, Joliet, and Peoria are part of OSF. They have a great reputation and I have several friends who work at St. Anthony and love it.
