I just submitted my RN application to DORA on Monday. Any idea how long the turn around time will be to receive my Authorization to Test?

I understand that you have to submit a transcript with degree conferral date recorded along with the application to DORA. Is this what you did? My school indicates that the appropriate transcript will not available until the end of June. This is going to really delay taking the NCLEX if true
Thank you, Apples:
I did wait until my transcripts had been received from my school and then I submitted my application on that date (Monday). A peer of mine submitted her application prior to the transcripts being in. On-line, my application says "pending" and hers says "incomplete".
My peer was told that there is a 5 to 7 day turnaround and I was told, "with the volume that we currently have, there is a two to three week turnaround time."
I am just so ready to sit for my Board exam that I could just explode!

Well, I guess my question answered itself. On the day that my transcripts arrived from my university, I submitted my application to the State Board. That was Monday the 19th. Now, on Thursday the 22 I just scheduled my test with Pearson Vue (for June 7th). Also, I had already registered with Pearson Vue a week or so ago, so there was no delay there.
I hope the process is a speedy for the rest of you!

I was curious about that too. We were told that it would be about a month from the time we recieved our transcripts, sent them to the board, paid pearsonvue, etc. ...before we would recieve permission to test.
I realize that you are thru the process now and I hope your boards went well.
I recieved my transcripts Tuesday 17 June. Sent them to Board of Nursing w/fees, paid pearson vue and am waiting to hear back. Nothing is available on board website so...
should I think middle of july to test?
I am not sure why my process went so quickly. I think that it might have been the person assigned to my paperwork at the Board of Nursing. A friend had submitted her application without transcripts and waited for the school to send them. I waited for the Board to recieve my transcripts and then walked my application in that day. When I received my authorization to test it took a few hours for the Pearson Vue web site to recieve it. I live in Colorado, but scheduled my test in Wyoming because I got a sooner date. I tested... it was hard. I had over 20 select all that apply questions and tons of infection control questions. I had two math questions. Anyway, I tested on a Saturday at 0830 and had my quick results on Monday at 0730. Then on Tuesday afternoon I had my RN license number on the Board of Nursing web site. AND I had my physical license in the mail on Thursday! Like I said, I don't know why everything went so quickly for me... but I am glad that it did. Good luck!
