Everest College RN Program

U.S.A. Nevada

Hello,

Has anyone heard of any feedback regarding Everests RN program? Has anyone attended this school for RN in Henderson?

Thanks!

same here. I don't want to have to take those classes again. I decided to not go with Everest.

i was also considering going to everest. i spoke with a lady over the phone and she said i jus had to take the hesi exam, an essay, and an interview. i have looked through other forums and saw i needed to also take a wonderlic exam?? if anyone has info on this please let me know. and do you know what scores i would actually need to get accepted?? i currently live in san diego, and the waitlist and cost are ridiculous. hope to hear back.

Hi! I started Everest this month. I didn't have to take the Wonderlic. I'm not sure why they took it out and I'm not sure if it is temporary. I took the HESI back in October. If you already spoke to an admission rep and he/she didn't mention the Wonderlic than I wouldn't worry about it. The test I believe you have to pass in each subject 75% or more. It's Reading, Vocabulary, English, and Math. It is expensive but the program works for me. What did the person over the phone tell you?

At Everest, could I take my prereq's first and then take my nursing courses? I attend a community college in Ohio but i am not sure if my credits will transfer to the Everest in Henderson.

Hi how are things going with you at Everest? My daughter has a campus tour scheduled this friday. Was it very difficult to get into the program? Have you been able to work while in school.

Has anyone experienced the nursing interview? What questions do they ask??

I believe my co workers work per diem which is at least twice a month and more if on break or have time. It's an accelerated course that lasts 12 weeks per subject so best to just focus on studying!

How is the nursing program at this school. What is the schedule like?

It changes every semester which consists of 12 weeks and 1 week of break in between semesters. Right now it is Tuesday Thursday 8-5 wednesdays 8-12 but it all depends on the classes you taking.

Ladies, who've graduated from Everest now Altierus career college, are you able to find jobs in hospitals? I want to apply but this stops/worries me. I wanted to Apply to CSN but too much back in forth with inaccurate information provided to students. I'm willing to jump through hoops but geez I feel like a dog in a ringling brothers circus act.

I have many co workers that I worked with at rehab hospitals and regular hospitals. Of course job hunting is hard in all career fields. Some had experience as a CNA and some ZERO.

Hey AvaRose,

I was not able to figure out how to private message you with my own questions. I took interest in Everest when one of my co workers told me about her start date, program details, etc. I'm just curious about what you thought of the program. What was your schedule like? The co worker I was referencing told me that she is scheduled for class Monday through Friday. I've completed a majority of my pre-reqs in Texas. Anatomy, Phys, Micro, etc.

I would have to retake Anatomy and Physiology; those courses have expired.

I was just wondering what a day to day break down was like for you and when you found the time to work, if you worked.

Thank you.
