Hi,
i am an immigrant (nevada) but currently studying in the philippines taking up nursing. Checked the nevada state of board nursing and it seems like they did some changes. Upon browsing their pdf file (licensure for lpn/rn) i noticed this...
Qualifications for nevada licensure:
1. You must be a graduate of an approved school - does this only apply on schools in nevada?
please enlighten me. Thank you so much.

No. However I would call the board to find out if your degree will be sufficient.
How do i do that? Do i just need to show them my course curriculum? I'm currently taking up bachelors of science in nursing under the new curriculum here in the philippines. Thank you for your reply.

I would actually email them your curriculum to see if its acceptable. Are you going to be getting your license over there before moving to Nevada?
Do you have this?

I believe If you do CGFNS (CES evaluation) after you graduate then you will be okay.
Yes, that's actually mandatory. I ready that starting jan 2013 they are requiring foreign graduates to have a local license as well. I actually emailed them asking this same question. Got their email address from state of board of nursing in nevada. Do they actually reply to this kind of emails? If i email them my course curriculum, does it need to be complete with all the descriptions? Thank you so much for helping me
Oh yes yes! I actually found that last night. Thank you for sharing.
I actually saw in the nevada state of board of nursing thay cgfns - ces is also required. Is that some kind of test that i need to pass or is it an evaluation where one could be either denied or approved from applying for nclex? Thank a lot for your input.

It is an evaluation of your transcripts and a breakdown into something that the BON can see clearer on what your training is/was
Does this means they could also deny you? and if yes, is there any other way I could be approved? thank you so much for your input
