NetCe Continuing Education Units

So, since I have been renewing my license I think the the best 30 ceu's in California come from NetCe. A catalog is mailed to your house with a 30 ceu's special for about $25 and you send payment by mail or register online and print out the credential information. I dislike Western schools because that is a trick bag.

I was just looking at NetCE. Do you find the content informative? Educational? I am really interested in some of their topics.

The reading material is informative, current to nursing , and low priced.

Good product, fairly interesting, reasonable price and courses accepted by my NP accreditation body.

My only minor issue (for NP's) is their pharmacology hours are somewhat limited.

Do you have time to write Netce with your need of more pharmacology hours for your NP credentials?

Also prefer netce to Western because of the price, although Western has a low cost subsidiary which I have used in a pinch.

The low cost provider affiliated with Western is CE Express. Today they have a 30 hour package for CA nurses for $26.95. That sure beats the $70 or $90 price tags for some of Western's more interesting titled bundles.

Western Schools sent their catalog about a month before my license needed to be renewed. The catalog showed their price for 30 cues but their was no order slip in the book. I went only and register to their site and paid more for 30 cues and the reading material was way to long to complete for a busy person plus take test in order to get credit.

I recently renewed NP accreditation with a combination of different credits, mostly Net CE and Western pharm credits.

They have changed their requirements, but I am good now for 5 years.

So check requirements, and don't wait until the last minute.

I agree with you checking requirements is very important.
