NET HOBET - any pre tests online?

I am taking this class this fall and wonderd if anyone knew of a site to help me study for it. Maybe some sample tests? anyone tell me something about the test...

I don't know of any online study guides but I used the printed NET HOBET study guide. I bought it in my school book store and it prepared me for the test. It was a really good investment (about $30 if I remember), especially for the reading because it helps you choose the "best" answer even though many could be correct. If you are not strong with math, it will help you there too. The study guide is written by the people who designed the test so it's the best. Highly recommend picking up a copy. You can also get it on ebay or Amazon if you have a little time for shipping. I sold mine on ebay when I was done with it because I hadn't written in it.

I can't stress enough how important it is to try to get the Study guide available on eriworld.com or from your bookstore, ebay, etc. It helped me tremendously. I had not done basic math in years and this test helped prepare me so well that I made a 100% on the MATH section of the NET test. The reading section is very difficult and yes, it will help you prepare for the complications of the reading comprehension. God bless and Good luck

I've been looking for sample tests or online guides, but I haven't been able to find any either.

I am taking the test in 10 days. I found a link -hope this helps a little. This link only has sample math questions. I found some sample reading questions. Let me search and see if I can find the link. I strongly reccomend you go out and buy a study guide though. Let me know what you think!!!

how long did it take you to get your NET results back in the mail? I have been patiently waiting for 3 weeks. Congrats on your acceptance, I will be awaiting my answer in the next month. Hoping to get in to the fall of 06 class also.

You had to wait for your results? What is crap! I got mine instantly when I was done taking the test. The college printed the results and handed me a copy before I walked out the door. I would have hated not knowing whether or not I passed for 3 whole weeks...eeek!

Was your test on the computer? How was it? Were you able to reference back to the paragraph for the reading questions?

Yes I know it is awful to have to wait so long to know what your score is. Our community college sends the tests back to ERI I have heard. Then ERI mails out the results. Crazy it is. It is a scantron, you would think it would be a piece of cake. We did all of our testing on paper. We had a scratch piece of paper for the math part, and then they collected the scratch paper. I suppose they were looking to see if anyone had cheated. I am still waiting by the mailbox though. No test results yet.

Congrats to you on becoming a nursing student. Yes, mine is also circulating among friends also. I hope that everyone takes our warnings of how important this is. It is true that some schools don't put so much emphasis on it, but like mine, they do. They also changed the rule for my school that you can only take it one time. WOW!

Also, I saw your countdown at the bottom about your husband. My prayers are with you, him, and your family. He is truly a hero.
