Nervous about Maternity Internship (Any Tips?)

hi, i am a senior nursing student about to start my internship in maternity. i have been using all my old notes to study but i am still nervous about looking dumb during my internship. my question is, what are the most important things i should know before starting my maternity internship!

First off, RELAX and ENJOY this internship. Don't be too nervous to:

Ask lots of questions

Jump in where allowed to help out

Read up on policies/procedures at your unit, to stimulate thought and discussion.

BE A SPONGE-----keep those eyes and ears open at all times.

Just try to have fun. It's not going to be as intense and bad as you might think. Try to be helpful, but also know when to stay out of the way. GOOD LUCK.
