my test date is approaching and im getting increasingly nervous, scared and insecure about passing. all thru nursing school i was a solid b student, did well on every test, was prepared for every test, but now, i feel like im not, even though i have been studying consistently since the first of this month. like ive stated before, i am doing the hurst review, im really getting scared and stressed out. guess ive been reading about other people taking it and failing, how many questions will i get? will i get all peds which i hate? im really scared because ive busted my butt for 2 years and i dont want to let my family down. im having probs concentrating because of my nerves. i really want to make it official and be a rn.

] Maybe it's time for a small break from anything to do with NCLEX. :onbch: Hang in there. Good luck on your NCLEX.:heartbeat

Agree take a short break from studying, take a day off and go and do something, Practice questions and understand what it is asking and the rationale. Don't assume you will get minimum questions but think you may get them all, doesn't mean you are doing bad but if it goes over min number and that was what you was expecting may make you more anxious than you already are

i think you should take some time off and take break..because i get very bad test anxiety and i try to relax and exercise to take my mind off of studying for lil while.

You need to redirect your anxiety because you are not going to be tested on how nervous you can get! You already know the answer to that one! Take that day or two off, relax, then come back to it with a vengance. Just think about how good you will feel once you have taken it and how much better you will feel when you find out you've passed.
