I am really nervous right now about starting nursing school. Which I would assume to be normal. Just thought I could vent a little bit here and get some positive encouragement.. Maybe even a couple of tips .

I start tomorrow too. I have waited years for this day as I am sure you have too. So why do we feel so nervous? I think it's partly because we are entering an unknown realm that is promising to require so much from us, and we question if we are going to be able to produce all that which is required.
I think it is comforting to know that others are walking down the same path and going through the same emotions. We can do it!!!!

Your first week or so will be crazy, but exciting. Don't let the initial workload get you down, it definitely takes a little time to get used to the fast pace of nursing school; but, if you were accepted it was because the nursing school beleives you have what it takes to succeed! Get as much rest as you can, don't be afraid to nap when you get home from class, eat breakfast and put a snack bar in your pocket, bring a bottle of water, and be prepared for the start of something great!
