:idea:This wednesday i'm taking the Nelson Denny reading test. have anybody taken this test before? is the timed allowed sufficient to finish the test? i'm nervous about this test because i haven't heard anything about this test. suggestions will be appriaciated. thanks:uhoh3:

I have taken it. no it was not timed. it depends on your location.

One nursing program I'm applying to previously used this test. The pre-nursing advisor said that the best study method for the Nelson-Denny is to get a GRE Reading study guide. So that's what I did. I studied for the GRE Reading test. I find that interesting because the GRE is for graduate school, not undergraduate.
If you google the GRE Reading exam, you'll find the company that administers the GRE and their study guide.
My program switched to the HESI, though. So I've not taken the Nelson-Denny. Just studied for it.
no it wasn't for me. you have to pay attention to key words and you will be fine.
