OK it is 0445 and the ER is quiet, but what just walked in a sore throat for a week!!:angryfire And her boyfriend has a damn toothache and wants to be seen also!!! What palnet am I on really!! Oh yeah I forgot I am an ER nurse and I love my job!!! ( most of the time)

Ah yes, the "while I'm here I'll get seen too" visit...

one of my favorites...

right up there with the family plan of 7 pts, all with different last names, coming in 2 hours past what should be their bedtime, all for snotty noses (oh, and they have an appointment tomorrow morning, but "didn't want to wait")

My hats go off to you ER nurses!!!! While doing my clinical there it was also very quiet...nothing really "EXCITING" and what walked into the double doors but an ingrown toenail and a woman who needed an enema (again). Of course...you know who I get to see...the enema.
