Need tips for job hunting

New grad just finished NCLEX 2 days ago. Desperately need a job to pay huge credit card debts. How can I get a job as soon as possible? No clue at all. Any suggestions welcome!

Tried to find a job before NCLEX. Sent out lots of resumes but no response at all. It seems everywhere requires at least one year experience. Should I go to another state? I do not mind relocating. How long will it take to endorsement license in another state?

Only a third of my classmates who graduated in December '09 have found work; and it's taken months as several just landed positions within the last couple weeks. I would suggest give yourself a month to work real hard at landing something here--you may be one of the lucky ones--at the same time make plans to relocate if you need to find work ASAP. It takes time to endorse to another state so I would start that in motion right away. I wish I could move away but have kids/husband entrenched here in Northern California. Good Luck!

Unless you have connections, I would recommend going out of the area or to another state. I was considering leaving CA but got lucky and was able to secure a job in a hospital. Go to state where people don't want to live in.
