Hi all, I accidentally ran over my laptop yesterday; ack. So I'm in the market for a new one and wondering what works best at UTA. I've been accepted to UTA BSN on campus for spring 14, but I've been only taking online classes so I'm not sure what everyone does in a classroom setting.
There are hundreds of thread in the nursing student forum on this topic, but I'm curious specifically about what would be best for UTA.
Oh, and I'm a pc/android girl.
Thanks for your thoughts.

I recently bought a Sony Vaio and its all touch screen and back lit key board. I really like it. At first I wasn't sure about the windows 8 but since Im getting used to it I seem to like it better. It was a bit pricy but totally worth it.

It doesn't really matter: Technical Support has assured me that as long as your computer's browsers and plug-ins kept are up to date, you should be fine with whatever you use.
I've been using a Mac iBook and haven't had a problem with anything.
I ended up getting the Samsung Chromebook. It is inexpensive, small, light, fast, and long battery life. It is a little weird having EVERYTHING online, but so far so good.
