NEED MSN informatics Preceptor-Tampa

Hello All,

I am a master of science in nursing student with a specialty track in informatics graduating from Chamberlain College of nursing this upcoming December. I am located in Tampa, Florida. I am seeking a mentor for nursing informatics practicum that involves a Masters prepared RN that works in a clinical/nursing informatics setting. My practicum dates are September 3, through December 23, 2017. Is there anyone that works as a Masters prepared RN in the clinical informatics setting that would be able to serve as a mentor for my practicum's, or know of anybody that does ? Any contacts or insights would be greatly appreciated.

If you are a member of ANIA, they have a mentor group where you might have better luck finding a mentor.

I copied and and pasted directions to the area on the website from ANIA's president. She responded to a similar question a few weeks ago on ANIA's e-list:

"There is a mentor community. It takes a few steps to get to the site, but after you log in, click on the Membership tab on the far right. Once there, click on the "Go to the Elist Community Page". In the blue bar towards the top of the page, you will see a link for ANIA Communities. Select "All Communities" and then press "Join" next to the mentor community. Here you can post your search for a mentor and any responses will be sent to your community email address."
