Hi Everyone,
I took the NCLEX on July 1st and failed. I have been in a downward spiral ever since. I am due to re-take the test on September 12th (a little over two weeks away) and although i know i need to get my butt in gear and knock this out on the second try, i feel like i'm paralyzed from fear. I can't seem to focus, i promised i would do 50 questions a day since I found out i failed (this didn't happen)
Have any of you experienced this? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

What I can tell you about how to prepare is you can try doing more than 50 questions a day. I was doing about 200 a day and completed all 1400 questions from my book. I also borrowed Kaplan book and completed all 150 and a few CD's So I'm guessing I probably did about 2100 questions on a span of two months or so. Stay focus that's the main thing you should do at this point. Your exam is only a few weeks away. If your study method did not work for the first exam, try changing it for the next exam. Be positive this will also help you staying focused! These Nclex questions are nothing but critical thinking and you have to chooose THE BEST answer. There's always two questions that you can throw out the window and the last two focus on PRIORITY! for example airway, breathing, circulation if that's not the case focus on Maslows Hierarchy of Needs. I read this on the KAPLAN book. Which I think helped me choose the best answer. GOOD LUCK TO YOU and tell us how you did
