I am a Pre Nursing student and currently need to work on a paper in which I interview a nurse that has a BSN or higher. I don't know any personally and was hoping that maybe I could find a willing participant here. If anybody with a BSN or higher would be willing to answer a few questions, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you in advance!

Sure.
Thank you for your help! If you would like to email your responses to keep them private, I am fine with that. My email is nicole (at) topnotchboas (dot) com. These are the questions that I would need answered:
What are your initials? (we're not allowed to use a name)
What type of nursing degree do you possess?
What type of nursing do you do and what is involved in your job?
How long have you been a practicing nurse?
What things do you view as important knowledge, skills, and attitudes for nursing?
How do your values and beliefs affect your practice as a nurse?
What values of yours have been shaped by your nursing practice?
How do you keep up with changing knowledge and trends in nursing?
What are some changes you have seen in healthcare during your time as a nurse?

Has it occurred to you that your assignment's intention was to (1) urge you out of your comfort zone to find a nurse to interview, and (2) have you actually interview a nurse, in person, and have an actual give-and-take interview that will enhance your insight into the field of nursing?
How do you know that anyone who responds here is actually a nurse?
Answer: You don't. Lots of folks get their kicks online by pretending to be something/someone they're not.
What if your instructor is a member of AN.com? Will he/she be ok with an anonymous online "interview"?

Have you tried calling around to local facilities (hospitals, LTCs, etc), schools, public health department, your own care provider's office? The major downside of trying to complete an interview on an anonymous website is that you can't truly verify that people are who they claim to be. It's also a fair amount of work for the person who would agree to be interviewed- they would have to take a lot of time to write out answers to your questions. Whereas if you sat down and talked in person, you could take notes while the nurse talks. It also allows for more flexibility in going off on tangents- when I had to interview a nurse educator, I learned a lot more by sitting down and talking and going off topic than I would have with a rigid format.

What do you think your instructor wants YOU to learn from the interview? Your instructor doesn't really care about the answers for her/himself, she/he wants to give you an opportunity to talk with a real live nurse and engage in a dialog about nursing. Maybe even get to know a nurse that may help you in the future.
A list of questions being answered anonymously really isn't that useful to anyone.
I would check with the instructor to see if she/he meant for you to go on an internet board to complete your assignment.

You do realize this is a message board and you have no way to verify the person who provides "answers" is a nurse. When you present this to your instructor you need to let them know the person may or may not be a nurse and could be anyone.
