Need info from N. CA home health Rns

Any N. CA RNs working in homecare who can help me out? I'm a med/surg RN, about to interview for a position in HH, but I don't know what would be a competitive wage. I have heard it pays less than hospital, but not sure what to expect.Say they quoted per visit- what would be fair?

Also- anyone willing to recommend any HH agencies from personal experience? I know some have got to be better than others. Thanks!

In school I did my home health rotation thru Kaiser Home Health. I'm not sure of any differences in pay, but all the nurses there were very pleasant and seemed satisfied. They liked it alot more than working in the hospital. When going around with my nurse, we visited about 4 patients a day, all in south san jose. She never had to drive very far. I think its worth looking into. Their office is in a building next to the Kaiser Santa Teresa Hospital main building.
