Hi all,
I am graduating from an RN program in August and got a call from Henrico Doctors Hospital to come interview for their CCU internship. Can anyone comment on the hospital, it's CCU, the staff, etc?
I also need to know how much RN's in Richmond start out at, because I am getting offers in DC for $24, but the commute would be 2 hours each way.
Thanks!
67 days to graduation! :roll

Have you looked at VCU?? I think new grads start around 20-21 but we have great shift difs and very supportive new grad programs.
You do not want to drive two hours to DC
Hi there,
thanks for the info. I have actually started the process for VCU/MCV. Henrico wants me to work 7p to 7a. I was hoping to get a position with a bit more flexibility. I've only been married 3 weeks, so only working
the night shift would not leave us with much time together.
Do you know if VCU lets new grads work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts? I'd love to get an 8 or 10 hour evening shift.
If you know of someone specific I can contact at VCU, that would be very helpful, but I will still submit the info online.
thanks again!
