On hand: IV tubing drop factor 60gtts/ml, is just telling you how to set the rate for the solution
75ml x 60gtts/ml =75gtts/min
60min
So you are going to infuse 75 drops per minute this should equal 75ml an hour, so 75ml x 6 hours = 450ml

The drug is ordered as 75ml/hr. (75)(6) = 450ml should infuse after 6 hours. I started to do the calculation for flow rate but if the drug is ordered at 75 ml/hr than it is easier than I thought. Can anyone verify this? I am just starting to learn dosages so I am trying to practice as much as possible.
Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you both. I can't believe it was that simple. Feeling like an idiot right now ! Here I am setting up all these different formulas. Thanks again guys !

Very confusing way to do it! If it's going at 75 ml/hr for 6 hrs, that's 75x6 = 450ml.
