Hi Everyone,
I just took HESI exit exam at my school, but did not pass the first time. I would like some advice on how to study for HESI. Are there any online or written review for HESI or NCLEX that would help me pass HESI?
Thanks

I've heard about this HESI exam...what is it exactly?
HESI is an exit exam that some school required the students to take as preparation for NCLEX right before graduation. Some school won't let student graduate until they pass this exam. My school in particular would allow us to graduate, but they hold everything related to NCLEX until the student pass. I have two more chances to retake the exam before my graduation day which would be on May 27 of this year.
If you have any information you believe would help, please let me know
I appreciate you have answer my message.
Thank you

I'm still supporting the Saunders NCLEX review book, chapter review tests, and CD's. I feel that they really helped me to pass when used after the HESI study materials.

You can go to hesitest.com to order the practice CD. To me the study guide is kinda like the Nclex study guides, & I would just get the CD. Hope this helped & Good Luck

I beleive more and more schools are adopting the HESI Exam before graduation. Reason..... they want their NCLEX pass rates to be high!!! Its easy to say... ohhh my school has a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX. The reason that most schools are increasing there pass rates is because they are not letting students that dont pass the HESI take it!! Which I think is unfair!!! Why??? Bc the main reason for the HESI are for schools to protect themselves.

Thank you for your feedback. I started to workout my new plan for HESI. I am studying from the HESI review test and CD practice and I would be using Saunders CD also. I am hoping this time works better for me because I don't want to be graduating without passing HESI.

The reason I found this site was looking for info on the HESI. Our school has to pass with a 900 to graduate. I am doing many NCLEX practice questions and am wondering if that is sufficient for passing HESI? I think I will check out the CD someone metioned. I too will take any advice/guidance I can get!! My pinning is May 20th. It is really nice to have a place to find info and VENT!!!!
thanks mikki
