Hi, we have a case study that we need to do and the patient that we chose is post-op due to spinal infection. My professor requires us to do nursing implications:

A. Nursing practice

B. Nursing education

C. Nursing research

Can someone please explain each of this. I asked my professor, but he was very limited with her answers. Thanks for all help!

Implications can include interventions.

Implications for nursing are signs, symptoms, tasks that need to be done by the nurse. These are things to think about after administering the medication.

For example after administering XX medication.

Implications for nursing - may cause BP to drop, HR changes, and blood sugar changes.

In this scenario - you would likely have nursing interventions: check BP, HR and blood sugar.
