in need of some help: jobs at a hospital before nursing school?

Published

hey guys, i am currently a student and i am taking all my pre reqs for nursing school at a school in PA. i really have a huge passion to be a nurse and i would love to start working in a care center or hospital now the only problem is i am not a cna yet and i cant take the classes until this summer because cna classes conflict with my regular school classes but i was wondering if anyone knows of any sort of jobs that i would be able to interact with patients without being a cna just yet .if anyone can help or give me some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. thanks:)

Is there any secretary jobs at your local hospital? It's not direct contact with patients but it will give you a sense of how the floors work.

I am not sure if you have to be a CNA to be a transporter for patients (ie: to and from their room to X-ray/CT/MRI).
