Hi Guys...
I just graduated from a BSN program in December '08...this past week I have been taking the Kaplan course..but I don't feel any more prepared to take the test than before...in fact I feel more discouraged. I have always been a good student--Magna cum Laude, 968 on the HESI, etc. Everyone is telling me that I'll be fine, but I still can't help but be overly anxious about taking boards. I have been taking the practice tests and such offered by Kaplan--and I seem to be hanging around the 63-66% mark. Kaplan assures us that 65% is considered desirable, but I can't seem to understand what Kaplan scores correlate to passing boards. I don't know if anyone will answer this, but I just needed a little encouragement. I know I can do this, I'm just really nervous!
Thanks again! and Congrats to all of the Winter '08/'09 grads!!

all i can really say is good luck and go in with a positive mind frame knowing as a human being you are capable of anything!!! i was talking to a friend of mine a she gave me some comforting words that her mom (an rn) had told her and it was before nclex think of the worst nurse you know and just think if she can pass boards than you can pass boards. also i truly feel alot of hope, faith, and prayer will go a long way. something i like to remind myself everyday is that no matter what the problems are of today or the things that went wrong i am comforted in knowing that tomorrow will come and with it a new opportunity to achieve what i didnt today. =) hope this helps
p.s. tony robbins is a pretty good motivational speaker that helps me.
most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives.
