hello, i'm a student at dccc and i have 30 credits already. i very worry because my gpa is not that great 2.5 and i got C's in AP1,2 and CHEMISTRY 1. I'm sad because i hear you cannot enter a nursing program in an university with a below 3.0 gpa or c's in science

i will like to know, if you guys have any feedback about the entrance proccess in widener , lasalle, neuman, villanova etc...........

please i need your help any feeback are welcome

just to add , english is my second language I speaks french, do i have any chance in the program ?

It's my dream and wish to be a nurse

merci

well am a student of dccc but i wont be doing my nursing program here i will be transfering to widener next year because it is very fast and there is haf tuition scholarship..but widener may not accept, like jefferson, lassalle and villanova but you might get a chance at neumann, but no matter what you will have to spend 3 years to get your BSN there...if you think you cant bring up your Gpa to 3.00 why not do the TEAS test at dccc and give it a try

Lastly, dont forget CCP if you have all your pre-req qith chemistry and with a GPA of 2.75..ccp will accept you for their program but you will have to do their special exam which is aht(allied heath test)

If you still need any help PM me..

Have you looked into Gwynedd Mercy nursing program? You have to complete their associate program first and then you can continue for the bsn right after. They will accept C's in your science courses and will also give you a scholarship to transfer to their school. They may still be accepting applications for fall. Hope this helps

thank you i will look into it
