Need advice on NCLEX-PN review books please :(

Published

I am a foreign student that applied for nclex-rn exam..after i got a denial from BRN that i need to go back to school and retake medsurg because my theories and clinicals were not concurrent , Frustrated and decided to take the LVN exam instead and I have bought the Saunders 4e for PN Q&A. I do have saunders comprehensive review 5e but its for RN , i went to barnes and nobles and compared the book I found out it is similar but their difference is the questions at the end of each of the chapters. I am planning to get this book but I don't know if it is even worth it to buy or just stick with my RN books since they have same content but only differs in questions. Any advice would help Thank you and good luck to us :)

Stick with your RN books for you content then borrow Kaplan for PN from your library for your strategies and look at the test plan online(NCSBN website.

thank you so much for your advice, i got too much rn review books glad i could still stick with them.. ;)God Bless

Hi Asteria. I have complete my RN overseas too, I live in TX so I called BON to find out if I fail NclexRN exam then if I could take LVN exam they said NO:(((

Do you know if in ur area is allowed as a graduated RN & failing RN exam can they take LVN exam? Then retake RN exam?

Pls if you know share ur opinion. Thanks a lot.

I find that surprising as many states allow you to sit NCLEX PN as long as you submit application and meet requirements
