Hi everyone! New to the site, so here it goes (in a nutshell)
Failed NCLEX back in July (used Kaplan)
Signed up for Hurst (online review for content), NCSBN learning ext. (additional question practice).
Take NCLEX next week.
Nervous, but staying positive. I was wondering for those who have used Hurst and passed, how were your Q Review Scores?
These were mine in order (thus far)
Q review #1 : 79
Q review #2 : 77
Q review #3 : 73
Q review #4 : 82
I understand that the median for those that have passed is a median score of 84, but was just hoping there are few ppl on here that have had similar scores to give me some hope.
Thanks in advance!

Hi. my Hurst score was 60-75. My NCSBN 3week course score 30-80% (30% twice coz i got really distracted and my mind was so out of it) . I did not read / touch NCSBN reading content course... just answered the question coz I did hurst for the content already.
My advice is keep on answering questions as much as you can till your exam date. Youtube nursing skills (really helps) , ECG, Calculation and MASTER PRIORITIZATION. Attack the SATA questions individually.
PRAY. PRAY. PRAY.
IF YOU'RE GOING THROUGH A TOUGH TIME, KEEP GOING..........

thanks eamjao for the reply, and appreciate the advice!!!
Just an update.
Took the NCLEX and Passed!! Feeling so blessed and relieved!
Hurst Review/NCSBN Learning Ext/NCLEX 4000
That what I used for my studies this time around.
If you have any questions, let me know!
Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations!!!! That's is awesome.... I have taken mine 3x, I waited a year after graduating before taking them for the 1st time(for fear of failing). I'm scheduled again for the 4th time, on the 16th....but I'm thinking about pushing the date back. Ive been contemplating a review course before this time, my husband says no, wait to c if I pass this time. I honestly don't know how many more times I can do this. I'm so over it, I'm not completely applying myself. I've looked into Kaplan and hurst....there's a $150-$200 difference in the courses. Im thinking an outside physical source may motivate me more. I've heard good and bad about both...any suggestions???

the ncsbn learning ext is a great source for both content + practice questions at a reasonable price.
for $50, you have access for 3 weeks and for $70, you have access for 5 weeks.
they provide a schedule for you to follow for either or -- if you choose to purchase this, be sure to stick to the schedule!
if you can afford it, i would do hurst online + ncsbn learning ext
good luck nfaulk3!
Thank you both very much!
