It will be my 2nd time taking the NCLEX in a few days. I did all of my question trainers from Kaplan and I also did Hurst Review. However my results are not satisfactory. I am so nervous because I'm scared of failing ones again. And there is a job waiting for me and the position will not wait for me any longer.
My scores are
QT 1- 55
QT 2- 64
QT 3- 53
QT 4- 60
QT 5- 65
QT 6- 56
QT 7- 57
diagnostic- 57
Should I reschedule my exam which is coming up in a few days. What am I doing wrong? any tips on how to study? Please help!!!!

What are your q bank scores? Have you been reviewing the content videos and book in the sections you score lowest?? I wouls recommend that. And read the rationals for every question whether you get it right or wrong.
Thank you for responding.
I only have 17% of my Q bank done. And my score is 70%. I have hurst review for content. And I go back to the contents that I'm not good at.
Kaplan recommends doing about 90% of the qbank and getting about 60-65% on them. I suggest for you to continue doing them and looking at your rationals and understanding why you are getting answers right or wrong.
The rationals help you think correctly on how to answer the questions. They show you if you were thinking around the right lines. And if you have time do question trainers 5, 6, 7 again to try to improve. The goal is for you to improve your scores whether you are getting high or low scores. Always try to improve. The better you get at these questions, the better you will do on the nclex. Good luck.

Take your exam! With those scores I think you're definitely ready! I had similar QTrainer scores and my QBank average was %54 with only about %25 done. Make sure you take the alternate item format quiz and sample test 3 for priority and review the rationales.
Thank you!!
I just did the Kaplan quiz #3 and got an 80. I will do more health and promotion question because that's what I'm not good at. And I'm also reviewing content that I'm having a hard time in like Endocrine. Thanks :)

Don't hold off any longer, take your exam. Your scores look good. Just continue answering qbank questions and aim for >60% and complete 90% of the qbank if you have time. you'll do great just go in with a positive attitude and confidence in yourself.
I know I shouldn't wait anymore because I need to be a nurses stat. But sometimes getting the score I get and hearing that other people gets 70 or 80 on their question trainers really scares me and makes me feel that I'm not ready yet. I just don't want to fail again.

I rescheduled my exam until 3 more weeks.
I got 58% on trainer 6, 63% on readiness exam, and I completed 100% Qbank with 57% (I have not read any rationales, watch videos or read the book).
I do not feel ready until I read all the content book, watched all their videos, and reach the target test score.
My good friend rescheduled her test date and she did everything Kaplan recommended her to do. She passed!. She is the only person who supported my decision.
I know myself best. I want to come in with a positive and confident attitude knowing I am well prepared. Everyone is different.
Good luck with your exam!

I never have done well on the practice exams... but I always did well on the HESI exams and I also passed NCLEX on the first try. Don't worry about those scores and take your test.
