2nd degree students at Seattle U or UW

As of right now, I think I want to go to SU over UW because I like the social justice themes and community emphasis of their program, but it is terribly expensive. I know 2nd degree students don't get that much aid, but I was just wondering...for anyone that's a 2nd degree student at SU or UW, would you be able to tell me how much financial aid you were able to get from either school?

Many thanks!

I don't have an answer for you, but would also like to hear what other people have to say. I have just started working on prereqs but I am interested in applying to the UW in two years. I already hold a bachelors degree in Psychology. I'd like to know how the heck second degree students are able to afford the accelerated program, or the first 15 months of the GEPN program. I figured out that in the two years before I am ready to apply, I can save about $18,000. That wont even put a dent in the cost of tuition, let alone cover living expenses. I am starting to feel pretty discouraged.

I only qualified for loans as a second-degree student in nursing school at UW.

There aren't any jobs for new grads in the NW. You may want to read some of the other posts on this site and re-think career direction. I know that many, many, many of us regret putting so blood, sweat, and tears (not to mention $$$) into a field that is simply oversaturated.

- have you firmly decided to do the 2nd degree accelerated vs the standard 2 year progression? If you chose that more expensive route I'm assuming you're choosing it for financial reasons as its quite a bit more then standard tuition.
