I took the NCLEX on 12/26/13 and have been getting the "good pop up" since I got home after taking the exam. However, my name is still not posted on the BON. I know CA is different from other states.
Now my question is, do I need to pay for license before my name will be posted, or should it have been posted by now? Does this mean I failed? I've read several different scenarios on this site for CA. Can someone please help me out??

I took my NCLEX 12/3/13 & my name was posted on 12/11/13. Considering that the BRN has been backed up lately, give it about 2~3 weeks. There are 3 different pop-ups apparently. 1. "the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time." Doesn't mean you passed or failed. Your stuff is on hold due to other reasons. 2. "records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact bon. an appointment can not be scheduled at this time." You passed for sure. 3. I actually forgot what the 3rd pop up said.
If you got #2, you passed definitely. I had that pop up and my name was posted on the BON within 2 weeks. My license came in the mail about 4 weeks from my test.

Hello, and thank you for replying. I did get the second pop up you mentioned. But I still cant help but panic. So, from what you're saying my name should be on the BON before I pay the additional $150? Thank you in advanced.

As long as the status is listed as submitted/processed and you're still getting the good pop-up then you're ok. You do not need to pay for anything to be posted, the only time you'd need to pay is if you need to re-test which you do not. I passed my boards last October but didn't get my name or license # issued for a month. Be patient, in the mean time look for jobs!
Thank you! Still waiting for my name on the BON or results from snail mail. The wait is KILLING me!

May be thebrn changing to the new breeze verification system is what's holding it up. I graduated the nclex in december and took the nclex yesterday and im getting the pop up, but most of my classmates havent even gotten their ATTs yet.
