Hi guys! :)

Anyone who uses or used NCLEX 4000? What scores are you getting or did you get before taking the real exam? I'm scoring around 65 - 80%. I'm nervous that I'm not doing well. :(

Thank you! :)

Im using nclex 3500 online.. my score range is at 55- 67... too bad for me.. im dead.

Don't be discouraged. Answer more questions and read each rationale. I'm nervous because I don't know where I stand. As a foreign grad, I don't know what to expect. I don't know if I'm doing good or not.

Im a foreign grad too... i think you're doing just fine... they said if you maintain an average score of 65, you're good. i dont know if its applicable in nclex 4000..

I took my NCLEX today. I had just over 80 questions. I tried the PVT trick and got the good pop-up.

I used NCLEX 10,000 which I think is by the same people and very similar. My scores averaged anywhere between 60s to 70s with a few 80s.

The only other study aid I used was Lippincott's Q&A book.

I would say that you are fine. The questions are definitely comparable. As long as you keep practicing questions, read rationales, and understand why you got the question wrong you are going to do fine!

So Nurse2Bee2013 you used the NCLEX 10000 and think the questions are comparable? That's what I am using and NCELX 4000. I was using 4000 first then just started 10000 and was wondering if they are ok to use to prep. I love both programs and I think doing questions more and more is the way to go with a lil content review every now and then.

I did no content review. All I did was practice question after question after question. And I read the rationale whether I got the question right or wrong.

The questions are very comparable especially once you get to the higher mastery levels (5 and above). There were a few NCLEX questions that I thought were easier than some of the 10,000 questions.

I won't say the NCLEX is easy because that's definitely not the case. But using 10,000 definitely prepared me for the difficulty level of the NCLEX. (I made sure to get to at least level 5, I mostly got to levels 6 & 7 for all the client needs sections).

Nurse2Bee2013..........Ok so to get to the higher levels you have to keep doing quizzes in that section right? Im on level 3 for some and 4 for some but I gona keep doing them over and over. I just figured out where the prioritizing and delegation questions are so I will be really doing those.

Yes. Just keep doing quizzes. The 20 and 50 question quizzes will move you up the quickest.

Ok cool.........I was so desperate to find where the priority/delegation stuff was I was going through individual topics LOL!! I just didn't want to buy that PDA book or any other sources. I love the program though and I like going between the 4000 and the 10000 as well.

Thanks nurse2bee. :)

I'll keep answering more questions.

10000 also has a good review but it is something that you need to purchase right? No free download.

Good luck with your studying!!
