I think you are doing good. You only did 200-300 questions. You got 56%.If you do 75%.You can take test. But it is not only to do Q-bank and trainer. You should read your book together.Good luck!
BTW: I will take NCLEX-RN for NY state, too.

I am taking Kaplan as well. I havent taken the N-Clex yet though. I took the classroom portion first and then started taking test and I was getting horrible scores (40's -50's). I started watching the review of content videos and reading along with my course book. My scores improved significantly to late 60's through 70's. So if you have online access, try watching the videos. You can also go to Kaplan to watch the videos. Hope this helps

hi ill be taking the nclex for NY state too, you should try suzanne's plan for the review part aside from the Q bank and Q trainers coz it would surely help a lot. :)

All you have to do is register for the NCLEX exam again in the pearsonvue website or call pearson vue...to register of course. you dont have to fill out any application forms anymore for the BON, just register with the pearsonvue again and pay the $200. just like that. no more fees or forms for the BON. :wink2:

You need to do far more than 300 questions to be fully prepared for the national exam. If you talk to most professors, they will say do a minimum of 3000 questions before taking the exam. Some people say they didn't study and I guess it's ok if you feel like a good test taker and worth the risk. I could never do that.
I was doing 100 questions every night for 45 days before taking the exam. I used Saunders, but kaplan is great too. in all honesty, you should be doing AT LEAST 100 questions a night and not reading everything. If you don't know something, or why the answer is the way it is, look it up. Reading an entire book and chapters is a waste of time. Knowledge is definitely a factor in the exam, but strategy in how to answer the "tricky" questions is what will pass you. Good luck:)

i have a question in suzannes.do we really need to give a specific date on when to take the test or just only the month.
Think you should be OK as long as you meet her requirements but always best to send her a PM and ask her yourself, She may take a little while to get back to you if she is busy with work
