0Hi! I took Nclex this February 16, 2017 at 8am here in California. My items stopped at 75 m. After almost 2 hours I'm done. I felt defeated, it was so hard. Then I tried the PVT trick after 12 hrs. Then 24 hrs, 36, 48. And still checking it until now. It's the same good pop up screen. My name is still not on breeze and check my account the view application status is still pending. Anxiety is still so high that sometimes I can't eat or sleep. I just wanna know what my next step would be. If should O study again or start to apply to hospitals. It's so frustrating that they don't have it here in california the quic result. I almost cry everyday. I try to distract myself by watching but still nt working for me.

A lot of people keep on telling me that I passed because of the PVT trick and good pop up even when I giving the correct credit card and debit card info. I also called the brn, yesterday they said they dont have my result then this morning I called again they said they already have my result but they can't dispose it over the phone. I have to wait 2-4 weeks to receive it in the mail. How come it is not in breeze yet? I'm also reading blogs comment of other people. I don't know if I should keep on hoping or accept that I failed to that I would not grief that much anymore. What should I do? Do you think I pass or Fail? Truthfully? Thank you

Crazy to think that the last time I posted on this forum, it was about applying to nursing school!

I wrote the NCLEX this morning! It shut off after 75 questions and took about 2 hours. Lots of SATA questions, only a couple med questions, one drag-and-drop, one ECG, and one exhibit. For the first half of the test, I was worried because the questions seemed too easy. And then it ramped up to about 6 SATA in a row and I was actually relieved!

I've gotten the "good" pop-up! Being my usual pessimistic self, I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up! My province seems to be really fast at processing results, though, so I should know by tomorrow morning!

I used HURST and UWorld. My nursing program was a post-bac one and wasn't the greatest AND our curriculum didn't teach to the NCLEX (thanks Canada!), so HURST was really great getting me up to speed! I feel like HURST is great at giving you a strong foundation if you feel like your overall knowledge is pretty weak. And, if you know the material with 100% confidence, you can approach most questions with success! I got around the average of what it says you should get to pass with the Q Bank questions! I think 81/125 and 82/125?

UWorld is a definite must. I really liked the rationale that it provided, and it was nice to do it after completing HURST to see how much I really knew/what I could actually apply. I only managed about 400 questions (I spent A LOT of time going through HURST and then making the entire book into cue cards...here's hoping that fun task paid off), but they were so helpful to get used to the critical thinking required to approach NCLEX questions! I think my average was about 55%? I did the assessment and scored in the 80th percentile.

My advice (I say, as if I have actually passed and am a seasoned professional NCLEX writer):

- Try not to do practice tests day before your exam. I did this yesterday and BOMBED them. My brain was just. not. working. My boyfriend came home to me facedown in the couch. It's just not a good idea. Go for a walk. See the outdoors. Maybe go over lab values - but try not to psych yourself out! At that point, all you need to know is already in your head!

- Do lots of practice questions. I really wish I had prioritized this, because I feel like it is the best way to wrap your head around how to approach and answer these questions. And doing questions definitely makes the NCLEX less daunting. Once you're sitting there, it feels familiar and comforting and your HR can go down a bit!

Good luck to everyone writing!!! Hopefully tomorrow I can finally chill out a bit - before I actually start working next week!!!

My physical RN license came after about 2 weeks!

how about the letter mail thatb you passed? and are you in California?

02/22/17 Just got home from the test site. My test started at 8am and it shut off at 75 questions.

I ran out and screamed so loud in the hallway, I knew I was a Registered Nurse. í ½í±¨*⚕️

I left the site around 9:40, walked to car and texted around 9:57am

My last few questions with Application and Analysis questions type( Who do you see first) I believe I got those right and during my test I would see Select all that apply questions back to back at least 3 times. Those made me happy, I would smile and say, yes! Give me more. I believe that indicates I was doing good.

I was praying while testing, giggle at few times because the exam was made simply for me. Car seats and Mongolian spots, as a mother of 3 boys I've encountered these things.

I had about 40 Multiple choice,30 Select all that apply, No math questions, No med questions. I don't think what to think right now. I did the Pearson vue and got the bad pop up. I received a lot of Prioritization questions.

Tested in Brooklyn,in DUMBO right by the Brooklyn bridge, looking over Manhattan on Such a beautiful day 2/22

I used Kaplan and Uworld.

What you think? I know my last few questions were passing level questions, does that make a difference??

Uworld assessment gave me very high chance of passing

KAPLAN Readiness 60%

Qtrainer 1 59%

Qtrainer 2 48%

Qtrainer 3 50%

Qtrainer 4 50%

Qtrainer 5 52%

Qtrainer 6 58%

Qtrainer 7 54%

Kaplan NCLEX sample 50%

Kaplan NCLEX Sample 63%

Kaplan Management A 73%

Kaplan Management B 75%

Kaplan Management C 78%

i want to Thank everyone for their support on Kaplan. Uworld is amazing product. I completed the bank , did the incorrect ones and did hundreds of more questions that I completed before

Ive been on this website since 2006, yes I've always dream of becoming a nurse since I was a teenager but always hated school. I said, I'll give myself until I'm 30 years old to become a nurse. Became LPN at 24 years old and now I'm finally RN at 29 years old Married to a very supportive husband and mother to 3 amazing boys . Everything is possible with God! This has been a journey, a great one. Good luck to all
