Published

Hi

This is my first time on here although i do read alot of threads. I am scheduled to take the exam on June 29th in chicago. I am FREAKING OUT that i will fail it. I am super anxious and need some help calming down. I am a B student and passed nursing school with no real problems.I do about 150 questions aday and i use nclex 4000 and mosby's.

If anyone has any advice for me then please reply.

Thanks

I did the practice test in Lippincott's Q&A review and passed with 75 questions.

heres a link. I got it and Barnes and Nobel (although I think this is the old edition?)

If you are doing that many questions, you will probably be fine.

I just liked that book because they were good questions and they threw them at you randomly. (like, not a bunch of questions grouped together by subject)

BTW, i was also a B student and passed NS without too much trouble. Good luck!!! I'm sure you will do fine!

Thanks for the suggestion i will look into it. When did you take it???

Congrats on passing the exam. :)

The NCLEX isn't as hard as people make it out to be. It's largely strategic. That's why you see many ditzy RNs out working. It helps to know your stuff, but it's largely about test-taking strategies.

I used the Saunder's Q&A and I do answered 75 - 100 questions a day.

On the day of my test, my computer shuts off at 75..

So your 150 questions a day is good. Just be calm and don't be nervous. I know it's hard but try do it on the the of your test. To make your mind focus to every questions that will show up to the monitor..

Relax the day before and practice your relaxation techniques. Good luck.

So i took the test today @ 2pm, when i got home itried the pop up thing everyone talks about and got the good pop up. My test was 75Q and i had mostly priority and med and SATA, so hoping it went well. I can check for fast results on Thursday.

Thanks for your replies.

Advance cogratulations my friend. Welcome to the field!
