Hi,

so today i took the nclex rn exam, finished at 265 q for 5 hours. Got tons of sata around 20 plus, 5 strips, 5 drag and drops and tons of prioritization and infection control. Cried my eyes out right after. Felt so defeated, i felt i didnt know more than half of the exam.

Did the pearson vue trick 6 hours later and got the good pop up. Is the trick still reliable? Thank you everyone!

I had a very similar exam to you. I also balled my eyes out from the elevator to the car all the way home. I got 265q and thought I failed for sure. I felt like I knew nothing!

I prayed when I got home and then did the PVT trick and Bam! I got the good pop. I was still very anxious for the next 24 hrs. Then I saw my license # on the BON page next morning

Congratulations my dear! Chances are You passed! Try distracting yourself for the next 24-48 hrs. Go see a movie, walk around the mall, whatever makes you happy. I'll keep you in my prayers

Hi!

Thank you for your response and your kind words! I actually checked my BON, and it says im still on my interim permit with license which expires by dec 2018. I was hoping it would change to a real active one with a later expiration date. Lols. Anyhow i havent done the pearson vue again because im too scared it would change into a bad pop up. Barely slept last night thinking how badly i did in nclex.

When I took my NCLEX years ago it did the same to me. However, our teachers taught us if you get critical care questions, such as Diabetes Insipidus, it means you've passed. And that was years ago before multiple choice questions, etc.

Keep in mind, NCLEX chooses so many students per day, nationwide, to go all the way to the end. You may have passed the first 75 questions but was chosen to go to the end that day at that particular testing center. Nevertheless, good luck to you!

I've actually read about that, that some NCLEX takers are 'chosen' to go all the way... and i just thought, that's just cruel. It was draining. Ive got DI and SIADH questions too. Somewhere around 100+ question. Thank you less than 24h to go. And ill have my quick results already.

And what is the PVT trick? How does that work?

There's apparently a 'glitch' in the pearson website. You re-register in pearson vue and you attempt to pay for another nclex exam, and when they wont accept your payment which is a "good pop-up" they say its a good sign that you passed, and when the system allows you to register for another exam and accepts your payment they say thats the "bad pop-up" and it could mean that you failed the nclex.
