Hello, I am a graduate nurse from Massachusetts. I just graduated Dec 2010 and just moved out here at the end of the year. I sent in my paperwork 2 weeks ago to the state of WA for my ATT but have not received anything as of yet. I did not get fingerprinted and I am hoping this does not hold up the process. My permanent residence is here now but I am still an out of state graduate. Does anybody know how long it will be until I hear from them? I've already taken my HIV/AIDS course this summer. I'm anxious to take the boards! :)
Thank you for your time.

I don't have any helpful information for you, but I just wanted to let you know I'm in the same boat! I graduated in Indiana December 2010 and moved to Washington immediately afterward. I am still waiting for my ATT too, even though all my fellow IN graduates have received theirs.

Victoria, When did you mail in all of your information??? I mailed mine out just before the new year. I hope it's not too much longer. My check was cleared. So that's good. But I check the mail everyday and nothing...
What made you move out here? Me, my husband lives out here, he's in the army.
Several of my classmates have already gotten and taken the boards. WA is slow! Glad I have all this study time but can't wait to have my life back. :)
I mailed all my stuff in mid-December. I know my school did not send in my completion form until a week and a half ago though because they were waiting for degree audits.
My husband is a software developer and got recruited by a company out here, which we're happy about because we love it here! Are you near Fort Lewis then? I hear the hospital on base there is a good option for finding a job.
I should probably study more, but I feel ready to take it, and I just want to get it over with!
That stinks about your school not getting on the ball.
Yes, my husband is at Ft. Lewis. I'm going to try to get a job on base. We shall see!
Yes, I'm ready too. Can't wait for it to be over too!
Good luck!
I got my ATT today and scheduled my NCLEX. My test date is February 2nd! I'm ready to get it over with, but having the official date definitely made me more nervous!

This may be a silly suggestion, but you have already registered and payed for the NCLEX on the PearsonVue site, right? They're the ones that send you the ATT once they get the go ahead from the DOH.
Another hang up may be your school sending out your official transcripts. I'd check with them to make sure they've done that. If you were a WA state grad, the DOH is notified when you complete a nursing program, but out of state grads need to have their school send their transcripts, and I know that that can be a long process for winter grads.
