Which would you recommend, Kaplan or Saunders Comprehensive Review Material for the NCLEX? Thanks.

I used Kaplan and also went through the program in albuquerque. I passed the first time.
I also remember reviewing Saunders and liking that one also. Sorry if it sounds confusing...

:mortarboard: i used the saunders throughout nursing school and it is a great resource. for the past four days i have been in a kaplan classroom nclex prep and it is great too. i took a pre-test on the first day and post-test on the last day and scored 6% higher.
for me personally i wouldn't feel prepared w/o both resources.
good luck
Ditto, congratulations
Thanks for your reply. I actually have both books. I find Saunders easy to read and understand, although I also use Kaplan sometimes---but I think that the questions are more complicated though.
yea i totally agree w/you the saunders is a lot easier to read and comprehend for me too, i use it more often than kaplan too. one big difference that the kaplan provides is the decision tree and the ability to study the question and decide if it's an intervention or assessment question and what the stem of the question is asking me. i am hoping that if i can get that part by second nature and finish the nclex in 75 questions.
the graduating class ahead of me used this kaplan method and the class is 100% pass rate on the first time taking the nclex. hallelujah! i am really hoping it works for me too. :yelclap:
That's great! I'm glad I have both books! :)
