Hi everyone,
I am looking for some advice. I am currently in the first semester of my senior year and am graduating in December (assuming the world isn't ending =P). I am considering taking an NCLEX course over the summer and am not sure who effective this would be and whether or not those who HAVE TAKEN IT feel it was worth the expense.
I have two NCLEX books...saunders and mosbys. I wasn't sure if anyone else had some suggestions.
My main concern is medications. I took pharm 2 years ago and feel this is my worst section. I look up meds before I give them and practice safely but I admit this is the most concerning aspect for me....both on the test and in practice.
Thanks for any advice you can give.

my 2cents, taking an Nclex prep class one semester before graduation is too soon.
Kaplan is strategy - you will probably forget
Hurst - more content based- some of this may help in your last semester but 4mths from nclex the other subjects may be a blur.
I'd wait. I would review an NCLEX book and review what will be covered that last semester because u have to graduate before taking the NCLEX
I'd take the course two to 3 wks after graduation. Many people whom I know who took the test said while content is great to know, most questions weren't straight content based but critical thinking, delegation, SATA, meds
