I passed the nclex-pn in Feb with 85 questions. I did not do the kaplan. I used Saunders book/cd. I did the questions on the cd mostly...and read the rationals. Thats all I did. I bet you could do it too. Its important to read the question and understand "why" that is the answer. When you go take the test...remember to stay relaxed. Do not let this test get to you. Thats what I told myself. It helped!!
Its just a test. When you read one question at a time....be "in" the question...THINK LIKE A NURSE!!! I think I had one math question. It was important to know the "normals" calcium, potatssium etc. I had questions like " who would you see first"....I did study on the morning of my test. I took my test at 11:30am...I was only about 40 mins from the test site. So I got up and drank my coffee...studied..so I was in the "class room thinking mode" But I only studied certain things like the labs, etc. You can do it!!! So when you go to take the test...take a deep breath...when you sit down...and tell yourself you can do it....and this test is just a test...dont let it intimidate you!!! You can only do one question at a time...so think like a nurse on every question....and dont second guest yourself.!!! GOODLUCK!!!!
