NCLEX-PN Stopped @ 175

Published

I took my exam on Saturday (May 3, 2008)! I stopped at 175 questions. I mean, it did jump from subject to subject but I am worried that I failed. I walked out of the testing center "like IONNO" but some of the questions I knew off the bat. Just kinda worried because I went from "priority question" to (system) to "priority" to (system) to "what is essential" to (system) to like "rooming in contact." I mean, this was going back and forth. Some fill in, which I know I nailed. GAHHHH! What do you guys think? STRESS LEVEL 10/10.

No advice but sending good vibes your way! :)

Hi,

Don't know either, one of the girls in my class had that many and she passed, I stressed and only had 85 or 90, I was sure I had failed. You just have to know that you gave it your best shot, sometimes they throw a really hard test in there to see what the person knows. Take a deep breath, I am sure that it will be okay, or you can study, and take it again.

Hang in there. We all think we have screwed up.:wink2:

When you say fill in....what do you mean? Are they math problems or do you have to spell something?

From what I understand the test 'feels' you out, and asks enough questions until it either feels you know the material or you don't. If is skipped around, maybe you answered them just fine and it went on to something else? I have not taken it yet but I am going by what I have heard others say and from this board.

I was told there are (math) dosing questions but I thought they were multiple choice.....

Is that not true?

I just took the Nclex-pn on May 7th. OMG my questions were all over the place also! Lots of SATA and meds, math (and you have to fill in the answer, they weren't multiple choice), one about a religious burial and quite a few about therapeutic communication. Lots of priority, they were all over the place!

My test stopped at 109 and I know without a doubt I got the last one right. A friend ironically got the same exact question on his Nclex and he picked the same answer but I didn't have much doubt although I did double check when I got home.

I live in California so now it's the 3-4 week wait which is awful!

I have friends who passed with 85, 140, 160, 205...everything you can think...

Did u pass? Im waiting for my results im so nervous
