So, I'm in an ADN program but we're allowed to take the PN exam after our first year. I'm doing very well in the program, and I'd been studying for the NCLEX PN casually for 6 months, but much more heavily for the last 3 weeks before I took it.

I'm just curious how many questions I would have had to get wrong for the CAT to shut off at 87. I only recognized 7 questions that I'm positive I got correct. I was being asked things I'd never heard of and I'm pretty pessimistic about the exam because of this. Way more SATA than I was expecting. I can't check my quick results for two days 😑

There isn't a number of wrong answers that will lead to the exam ending. Questions are written at several different levels, including below passing level. Take a deep breath, relax, and wait for the quick results.

Got the quick results, so nice to have that option. I ended up passing 🙂 that is such a great feeling and was a shock. I wish I could still get a summary of right/wrong/explanations. But at least one board passed!
