NCLEX-pn which book is best?

Published

I'm starting school next month and although I have about 15 books for school I still need to study for the nclex.

Most say Saunders but I got that advice from rn's...so I can't really take heed to it.

Any advice?

They were right. I used that and exam cram. I also did tons of questions.

Don't get caught up with too many books. Saunders is excellent review and definitely do a lot of questions.

I used Saunders and I also paid for the Saunders app so I could do practice questions at any time. I found the ATI books that the school gave out also very helpful!

I went to lib and checked out all the free lpn nclex review books...(free questions on the cd's)

Saunders, Mosbys and Davis

I purchased the online NCSBN 50 $ for 3 weeks, and Exam Cram the questions book . both are great.

I used all that and passed lpn with 85 questions. Know infection control, lab values, general side effects of meds..

I did about 100-150 questions daily for a month...studied daily about 4 hours - 5 hours a day.... I felt prepared and knew I did everything I could...

Good luck! you got this, pray and believe in your self....

Nothing to add.... Just wishing you lots of luck!!!!!!!!!!

Go to your school library. They should have a lot for you there... Hurry they might be rented out. I find that Saunders Comp.Rev. helps and Kaplan. Good Luck!

I went to the library and checked out all of the review books. In each book they have a disc with review questions. Every night I would do close to 100 questions from each book to make sure I covered all the ways they would ask the questions. It will build your confidence as well. I passed my text the first time and got my results the next day.

Good Luck
