NCLEX-PN & nervous wreck..eeek!

Published

Hello *gulp*

I took my NCLEX-PN exam here in California on 8-3-2016 wednesday, just two days ago.

It was as if I had read the exam in a foreign language. I studied from Saunders NCLEX-PN questions.

I felt like the questions, just got harder, some "easy", then harder. I got many SATA, rearrange to priority, and prioritization questions, only 1 math, and exhibits.

I didnt know what to to think, none of what I saw on NCLEX-pn exam did I encountered on Saunders practice. I'll admit, I haven't fully finished Saunders practice, but i did many questions and exams.

My NCLEX exam stopped at 130 questions and at 3 hours later.

When I got to the car, I didn't know what to think.

When i got home, i was sad, like all my goals have been flushed down the toilet, i though about all my plans, and how I know that I failed miserable. And knowing that I can't access quick results in california, just made it worse. And thinking of waiting 4-6 weeks in snail mail filled me with anxiety.

I tried the PVT Trick, and I got: "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time"

...so from what I read, this is the good pop up. It was like that for the whole day.

Then....the next day which was thursday, including today friday, I got another pop up that says: your exam results are on hold, another registration cannot be made at this time"

Everything feels weird right now, I keep thinking that i failed miserably, about how many months of test taking, waiting, test taking, waiting, I have ahead of me. Seems like I won't be able to pass this test. I'm studying as i type this.

I don't know if I passed, I don't know if I failed, but it is a very sucky feeling, terrible. The waiting is torture. If I failed or pass, just let me know quick!

It's getting on my nerves, i feel bad, have any of you experienced this?

I even had a dream that I passed my exam, my dreams are playing tricks on me.

Does anybody know how long will it be on hold, or how long did it take You to receive your results in California after the exam.

Welcome! Your thread's been moved to our NCLEX Discussion forum for more replies.

I was in the same boat as you last week, I also studied from the Saunders book and literally did over 1000 questions and I agree with you 100% that none of it helped me for the actual nclex. My test shut off at the minimum number of questions(85) and I instantly felt like I failed, but just like you the questions kept getting harder and there was many select all and delegation questions. I took that as a good sign because I found out that I passed two days later. Just try to relax and try not to stress over it too much you probably passed it :)

So after the good pop up, then bad pop up, the good pop up came back again.

All i gotta do is wait, no other choice.

Agree the test was like what??nothing like saunders

You're so lucky, California has no quick results..freaking insane.

Congratulations by the way! :)
