Go to the top of the international forum, the quickest way for licnesure is to go thru NY, then endorse to NJ.

You do not need Visa Screen to sit for the exam, but DO NOT PAY FOR NCLEX EXAM until you have received a letter from which ever state that your educational credentials have been accepted. At that point, then you apply on-line to Pearson-Vue and once they receive the notification from your state, they will issue you the ATT letter upon payment for the $200.

You will then have 90 days to take the exam..................or lose your money.

the visa screen is not needed to sit the NCLEX just for your petition for greencard. If in the US I believe it is attached to your file if waiting in home country for immigration interview it is needed for the interview. Once everything is in order and you have passed nclex it can take approx 4 months to get the visa screen

No state requires Visa Screen for sitting for the NCLEX.

Most states will just accept a copy of your passport to be able to sit for the NCLEX exam..............

Again let me state, if you are a foreign nurse, and not currently in the US with a valid Social Security Number (SSN#), the easiest and best way for a license that you can readily endorse is via NY. They are one of the few that will actually issue you a hard license.

The NCLEX exam is the same exam in the US, it doesn't matter which state that you wish to be licensed in. It is actually a national licensing exam. Once you take and pass this exam, you never have to repeat it. Just apply for endorsement to other states, simple as that.

One more question..I feel so confused ..I'll send my application to New Jersey board of nursing..how can I ask CGFNS to send my certification..what I will ask them for? and should I ask my nursing schoool to send for the board my license or just it's enough to ask CGFNS to do so..because actually they have everything ..

For NJ, you have to follow up and have the appropriate areas send the documents again.

Did you apply for CES evaluation with CGFNS? or just for the exam? These are two separate things...........The Certification just means that you passed the exam, it has nothing to do with a credentials evaluation.

Unfortunately, it is your responsibility to make sure that licensing info gets to the BON, it is not CGFNS' responsibility.

This why I keep stating to use NY..................you would save yourself much time and grief..................just remember that it was your choice to use NJ, not mine. I definitely do not recommend it.

Again, NJ has issues if you do not have a SSN#, much better off with NY, then just endorsing.
