NCLEX NEXT WEEK!

Published

hi! im gonna take my exam this MONDAY already (Oct19,09) in Manila. and im scared. really scared. my study materials are CD: Hogan (Prentice Hall), Kaplan and, book: NSNA. right now, i am still familiarizing the side effects of drugs and s/s of common diseases (and im also afraid that maybe i missed some dses that i thought were not common). and i dont know what calculations and formulas i should memorize. im afraid that i might OVERANALYZE and stuff. is there really a tendency to OVERANALYZE the questions and options???

ohhh im so NERVOUS!!!! and im really feeling A LOT OF PRESSURE bcz of my family (not to mention the money spent for the processing, tuition for the review etc). :crying2:

any tips? :sniff:

what am i gonna expect about the exam?

what is the exam's level of difficulty? if ur gonna compare it with NCLEX study materials e.g. Hogan, Kaplan, Saunders?

do they allow the takers to bring a jacket just in case it's cold?

any replies for my post will be greatly appreciated! thank you so much! :)

hang in there and feel confident. Normal to feel nervous and I am sure you will be fine. Just spend the next few days practising questions and reading rationales. the day before put away the study stuff and try to relax and not think about it.

Good luck

wish you all the best

Manila is not really that cold, depends with the AC I guess. But since Manila testing centers are pretty strict, they won't allow you to bring anything inside the testing center. They would even let you empty your pockets and stuff. But just bring them just in case they would let you. Don't forget to review Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment by LaCharity, if you have time. Practice more NCLEX questions. Practice makes permanent. I believe that you have read your nursing content right now, so just practice more questions.

Rest 2 days before your exam. You need one. Stress gets into your nerves sometimes it affects your thinking and makes you more anxious.

Good Luck! You'll pass! =D
