Well is my turn in the barrel. For the past 2 years I have read about other NCLEX test takers and wondered if I would ever get my shot. Well in 3 days I will fight and try to slay the NCLEX monster I have taken over 1800 practice questions and my average score is 81%, I have taken a review class, and have studied content. Is there anything else that I should do, or should I just focus my studies on weak areas only? Thanks for the input and good luck to all!

When I was in this spot here is what I did. I did 100 question practice tests up to the day before the test. The day before the test, I did NOTHING NCLEX related. No studying. I went to work in the morning, relaxed in the evening, had a nice dinner, bubble bath and went to bed early. Got up the morning of, had a light breakfast and left early.
You will do great, sounds like you are well prepared. Best of Luck!

It sounds like you really are prepared. But I'm sure you still think that you aren't. Just relax..You need plenty of rest before the big day. If you have study notes, you can read those. But no more studying other than that. Don't cram. It will just stress you out. Just like Lori said, I also think that you will be doing great. If you haven't visited the testing site, you can visit it if you want to, so that you will be familiar with the place.
Good luck! Never forget to pray. Praying always helps.

I am using the Saunders NCLEX review 3rd Edition. I find it to be a very good review book.

All good advice from the previous posters. One other thing is to make sure you have your driver's license & it isn't expired (I can't remember if I needed two forms of ID) . Yea, I know that seems to be obvious, but when I took my nclex there was one lady with a expired driver's license, it had only expired a couple of days before the test, and they would not let her test. She was told to go to renew it in a town she did not live in and be back in about 30 minutes. Yea right! I always wondered if she made it back in time; imagine all of that money down the drain. On the other hand, if the testing place would have just let her test, and the state found out about what they did I think they would be out of business right now.

I think you should do practice questions in all areas. My experience was that I studied my weak areas and they weren't on the test. Try not to do anything the day b4.
Best Wishes!!!
