Ok, so I just got my ATT today and scheduled my exam for 7/18. I am FREAKING OUT!!!! I have been out of school since 5/10 and feel like I am forgetting everything!! I wasn't this nervous until I actually submitted the appointment request, and now I feel sick!! I am doing the Saunders Comprehensive Review Book now. Any other pointers?

I think you're on the right track with Saunders. How many questions/sections per day are you doing?
I wouldn't worry too much about the two month break after school. One of our very active members on this site was out of school for twelve years before passing, so two months is not huge in the grand scheme of things.
I'm on chapter 41 of 76 right now, and am doing on average 10-12 chapters per day, giving myself a break every 3rd chapter or so. I am doing the questions and anything I'm getting less than a 70% on I am going to go back to when I am finished with all the chapters. Does that sound ok? I feel totally unprepared, especially with stuff we did at the beginning, it feels like I'm looking at it again for the first time.
Thanks for the reassurance. The twelve year break makes me feel a little better. Are there any other review books you think I should consider? I also have the Kaplan book, but it is from 2004-2005. I don't know if I should even bother referring to it if it is outdated.

Same here. I've been out since May and my test date isn't until July 12th, I'm so afraid I'm going to forget too much. I'm using Saunders, reading Kaplan too, some Nclex flashcards book while at work, etc...

I was actually originally supposed to test on July 12th, but rescheduled so my friend and I could drive up together since it is an hour away. I'm starting to feel a little better about it, well, at least I can sleep now - BARELY!!!!!! I like Saunders, and was thinking about signing up for Kaplan's online review. What do you think???
I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one really nervous about the exam!! Good luck studying!!

In my opinion kaplan was useless. The saunders CD that came with the book was the best thing.
Thanks for the reply. It is good to hear other people's opinions about programs, especially ones that cost $450.
I'll stick with Saunders! Thanks again!!!
