Nclex --- I know you guys see this often but I need to know ......

Published

Okay, so I just took NCLEX PN yesterday November 28. It was tough, when I tell you I kept getting SATA, it was at least 40 ( blue screen at 85 btw ). I also got an intake an and output calculation and 1 other math. So as soon as I got home I got on here and was reading how to see if I passed. Seen a lot of post saying PVT or whatever so I tried it.

Guys, it let me put my CC on there so I just switched it out with a card with no money just in case they try to take the 200. Page came up and said "our records indicate you have already scheduled this exam" which is good? I just felt like I did horrible I was looking up some questions I could remember and I got them wrong!!

Its 5 a.m. I will not sleep until I know for sure lol

I can't help you since I haven't taken my NCLEX-PN yet(I take it next week), but congrats for getting the good pop-up. I truly hope it is true for you :-)

The type of question is irrelevant in determining pass or fail. The PVT is merely a software glitch and may or may not correlate with the official results. Trying the trick within 24 hours of taking the test may result in an inaccurate trick result as the test is scored twice, once at the testing center and again after the record is sent to Pearson Vue. Instead of risking money by using a credit card, wait the 48 hours for quick results if your state participates, or keep an eye on your state's license verification site.

Thank you guys so much, I sure hope I passed!

Good luck FutureRN-GA, you will do great!

Congratulations! Good pop up is 99% positive! Yay!

Congrats to you... how did you study for the test?

ATI, and I made a ton of flash cards from notes I made in school, I also used NCLEX MASTERY APP.

ATI had way too much info on it and it got to be overwhelming so I just used it for questions and rationales.

Great... I really like ATI just the only thing is that I start to remember the answers but I still like it a lot ..

Yea, we used it all throughout school so it is like I was seeing the same questions sometimes.

I have been searching all over the internet for the past 48 hours, trying to find out if the so called pvt glitch still works. Read over 100's and 100's of threads. Your situation is exactly like mine. The same type of questions I got...(omg the SATA), and my test shut off around 85 or 90 questions. I didn't feel good about the exam at all and was sure I failed. Crying but still trying to have my dignity I got the courage to try the PVT. I have been getting the good pop up ever since I took the exam. I took the gamble and hit the submit button on the cc page. I went through like 2 or 3 pages to confirm that I wanted to pay for the re exam and it would not let me. I guess a lot of people stop at the cc page and don't actually hit the submit button and others that try using a card with insufficient funds or wrong exp date etc gets an invalid response. At this point in my life with all the hard work I put in to my education, why wouldn't I want to retake the test and pay the 200? Besides I am in California and we don't have the quickresults and I hear that the California Board of Nursing does not add peoples names right away to the list of vocational nurses. I have been checking non stop and still don't see my name on the list. Im so nervous and getting sick over this. I hope this is true and I passed.

oh by the way my school forced us to use ATI the entire way through and I used the virtual ATI website after graduation and ended up using the nclex mastery app on my phone, and made note cards like you, ironic huh? ATI is good but super hard...and I got the green light too by the way. No matter what we use for studying material, we must know the rational and disease process and that's why I liked ATI and NCLEX mastery app because each question provided rational. Congrats on passing, cheers!
