I take my nclex in 10 days. i have been stduying for a month using Kaplan getting qbank scores starting @ 47% to my latest last night of 75%. my question trainers are as follows
QT1 67
QT2 75
QT3 58
QT4 62
QT5 60
QT6 64
READINESS 64.
my friends have been telling me about ATI which is free from our school, so i tried it maybe once, yesterday my tutor emailed to say i wasnt logging in she sent me qeustions to do and i did them while at work in 30 minutes and asked for a comprehensive test being that im scheduled in 10 days. In a nutshell she said my answers were too brief, i got 1 of 20 questions wrong (a ABG question) and she basically told me (better yet ill paste her response"
'we have a number of other content areas to progress through before the comp predictor. You can reschedule NCLEX up to 8 AM the day before. It is better to reschedule than take NCLEX when you are not quite ready" i could not sleep last night woke up @ 4:30 in such a panic i threw up. Should i reschedule ????

I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't been able to get a good night sleep since I started this process. I go to sleep and wake up thinking about questions. Last night I had a weird dream about Nclex that involved me having to also do a care plan to pass...it was weird. Anyway, I digress. Here's the good news, the teachers at Kaplan say that if you get 60% and above on the QT6 and QT7, you're ready. Q7 especially is supposed to be the most like Nclex. You've got a Readiness score of 64. So it looks like you're ready. :) I take my exam in less than a month and my scores are nowhere as good as yours. I don't think you should reschedule at all. Your scores are quite good and you know much more than you think.
Thanks vanessaem, I have found myself waking up to do questions in the lacharity book at chapter 11 on that, i finished the Kaplan 2013-2014 NCLEX book and use saunders at times.i have completed 85% of the kaplan questions. Then the tutor tells me that, i was so very discouraged but i am a fighter i have worked too hard for this, i was never one to curl up and be kicked and i am not about to start now.My best is all i can do and thats what i intend. Good luck to you and i just needed someone who can actually relate to view it from the outside and let me know
Good luck to you as well. You can do it!

I took my nclex last thursday and passed at 75 questions....I used Kaplan qbanks and qtrainers as well...my scores avg about 69%. I wouldn't stress the scores...I would continue to practice questions as much as you can and just make sure you understand the content.
However, if you feel like you are not ready (You're feeling, not someone else's) then you can always reschedule but I would caution against it. You'll never feel completely "ready"....you'll have anxiety no matter what, but prolonging the inevitable may just make matters worse.
You won't learn much more in an extra 2 weeks or so anyway -- you definitely know more than you think...Breathe!!! you'll be fine -- don't let the prep courses freak you out..I somehow believe that's their main purpose
Thanks Aimee2013, I appreciate your advice. I have definitely seen an improvemnt in my content knowledge I believe i have concreted what i thought i knew by researching the questions i got wrong as well as the ones i got correct but was not completely sure why the answer was what it was. I now know of meds and ailments i have never, ever heard of before starting my review and i have faced my fear of the endocrine system , reviewing and understanding its mystery a little more in depth. I truly feel ready i know my weak areas and i tackled those first. You are 100% right @ You'll never feel completely "ready", and a professor once told me that "a little anxiety is sometimes a good thing it provides an extra mental charge to think through your choices". CONGRATS on your success and ill keep you guys updated
I took it today computer shut off @75 I hope that's a good thing I was screaming inside no give me more questions I'm not done
