What's the best review course

I graduated in May of 2004 from RN school and have attempted the NCLEX twice and have been unsuccessful both times. I am planning on attending a review course before taking it for the third time. I wanted to know which one would I benefit from the most. Hurst, Kaplan, or Delmar? I am thinking probably Kaplan?

Hi:

You will get different answers from different people about which review course is best. Many people strongly support the Kaplan course citing the "strategies" they present for responding to the NCLEX questions.

At the end of the day, you have to understand that all of these courses are review courses. Each course is based on the premise that you have learned this information in nursing school. Every NCLEX candidate needs to identify their areas of strength and weaknesses concerning knowledge gaps and test-taking strategies. This can be done in a variety of ways, but whatever review course you take it is up to you to honestly determine what you know and what you don't know. All of the strategies in the world will not make up for serious deficits in nursing knowledge.

Therefore you must support any review course with focused study in content areas that you have identified as deficient for you.

Those with multiple NCLEX failures also need to augment any study plan with efforts to reduce test anxiety.
